Shasta Ventures Closes Fourth Fund at $300M

Menlo Park and San Francisco, California-based Early-stage venture firm Shasta Ventures closed its its fourth fund at $300m.

Backed by returning investors from previous funds, Shasta Ventures IV focuses on Series A and Series B stage technology companies in the enterprise software, consumer, and connected device sectors.

Led by Tod Francis, Rob Coneybeer, Jason Pressman, Ravi Mohan, Sean Flynn, Shasta has invested in Anaplan, Apptio, Crittercism, Mint, Nest, Nextdoor, Lithium, Turn, Zenprise, and Zuora, among others.
The firm previously had raised three funds:
Shasta Ventures I (2004) $210M – 26 portfolio companies
Shasta Ventures II (2007) $250M – 34 portfolio companies
Shasta Ventures III (2011) $265M – 28 portfolio companies
