Moment.me Closes $1.65M Funding

Moment.me, a Tel Aviv, Israel-based event tech startup, closed a $1.65m funding.

Backers included Singtel Inov8, Blumberg Capital and a new unnamed European fund.

The company, which has raised over $3m to date, intends to use the funds to accelerate market adoption of their new solution, expand their marketing and advertising efforts, pursue strategic partnerships with major web development companies, integrating their proprietary technology as an embeddable web app or widget and accessing a new pool of potential users.

Co-founded by CEO Ronny Elkayam, Boaz Adato and Eilon Tirosh, Moment.me provides event organizers with a tool to create a mobile microsite for any event, which work as a one-stop-shop of digital content for that event, allowing participants to prepare for, live and relieve the full event online, and enabling brands and businesses to engage with those participants.
The sites also incorporate content from the company’s viral app, which automatically pulls content from all the major social networks, and smartphone camera rolls.
