Light, a Palo Alto, MA-based startup that aims to reimagine the art and science of photography, raised a $9.7m in Series A funding.
The round was co-led by Bessemer Venture Partners (BVP) and CRV, with participation from Qualcomm Executive Chairman Dr. Paul E. Jacobs and Globalfoundries CEO (and former Motorola Mobility Chairman and CEO), Sanjay Jha. Jacobs joined Light’s Board of Directors, alongside BVP’s Bob Goodman, CRV’s Bruce Sachs and co-founders Dave Grannan (CEO) and Rajiv Laroia (CTO).
Harpuneet Singh, SVP Design and Manufacturing, and Bradley Lautenbach, VP Marketing, joined the management team.
