Federica Guidi, the Italian Minister for Economic Development, has announced the creation of “Italia Startup Visa“.
The initiative aims to simplify the procedures for foreign entrepreneurs (extra EU) to launch a startup in Italy.
Realized in cooperation with the Foreign Affairs Ministry, the program will give to a single organism, the Technical Commitee, the responsibility to implement the procedure to grant Visa to entrepreneurs.
The committee will assess, within 30 days, the application filled with the info about the idea, the business model, the product/service and the market.
A certified incubator available and a €50k check to develop the startup represent further elements that facilitate the procedure, which will be managed via the site at http://italiastartupvisa.mise.gov.it.
