Chic by Choice, a London, UK-based fashion rental website, raised €500k in funding.
Backers included Portugal Ventures, Faber Ventures and The Edge Group.
Founded by Filipa Neto and Lara Vidreiro and just launched to the public, Chic by Choice is a platform for women to access and rent designer dresses shipping to more than 15 European countries. Its current catalogue features dresses from designer brands including Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, Valentino, Jenny Packham, Roland Mouret and Lanvin, amongst many others.
The company currently is offering around 150 dresses to rent, and will add a further 100 new styles to its inventory every month.
