Virginia-Based MACH37 Cyber Accelerator Opens Application Period for Fall Cohort

MACH37The MACH37™ Cyber Accelerator has opened the application period for its “F14” Fall Cohort.

The program, which will begin September 2, 2014 in Herndon, Virginia, consists of an intense 90-day period in which eight create security product startups will be coached in all aspects of creating a sustainable and successful business. It is open to companies from any geography.

Participants will receive a $50k investment to develop and launch their ideas into the market.

To apply, interested entrepreneurs can visit www.mach37.com and fill-out the online application. Evaluation will begin in June with final selections announced in August.

Launched in 2013 by the Center for Innovative Technology, MACH37 looks for entrepreneurs who want to face the challenges of global cybersecurity threats  with solutions that address the drivers of demand for innovation, including:
– New mainstream demand for advanced capabilities;
– Porous network perimeters that are making traditional solutions less relevant;
– Opportunities created from software defined networking; and
– Challenges of a hyper-connected world with an Internet-of-everything.
