Talenthouse Receives Minority Investment from ProSiebenSat.1

talenthouse_logo_(iconLeft)Talenthouse, a Los Angeles, CA-based creative freelance marketplace, received a minority investment from the Munich-based media group ProSiebenSat.1.

The transaction reportedly amounted to $10m. ProSiebenSat.1 is making the investment through Starwatch Entertainment, its own music and live-entertainment company.

The company will use the proceeds to to expand its network to the German-speaking countries.

Led by Roman Scharf and Amos Pizzey, Talenthouse is a global creative community where brands can connect with artists who create content that connects with people. Artists can showcase their creative work and find opportunities to partner with major brands retaining ownership of their work, earn compensation, and grow their reach.
Talenthouse’s creative campaign for Adidas supported its expansion into the sunglasses segment, in which nearly 2,000 creatives presented proposals for sunglass designs. Of this total, three designs went into production and are now available on the market. In total, this campaign reached 36 million people.
Apart Adidas, clients include Procter & Gamble, Coca-Cola, Microsoft, Dolce & Gabbana, Samsung, Kleenex, HP, Intel, and Volkswagen.
