Newlans Raises Additional $5M Investment from Verizon Ventures

Newlans, Inc., Acton, MA-based fabless semiconductor company specializing in reconfigurable broadband analog signal processing solutions, closed a $20 Series B financing.

Newlans, a provider of RF solutions, raised an additional $5m investment from Verizon Ventures to complete its Series B financing round, totaling $20m.

The initial $15m closing in February included existing investors Paladin Capital and Lockheed Martin, as well as two new strategic partners (read here).

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate the development and commercialization of its Programmable Duplexer, targeting front-end radio frequency modules for 4G LTE mobile devices and small cells.

Led by Dev Gupta, Founder and CEO, and Divi Gupta, COO, Newlans develops Programmable Duplexer targeting front end radio frequency modules for 4G LTE mobile devices and small cells. Its wireless products provide handset designers with a common 2G/3G/4G RF front-end solution, capable of covering all regional and operator bands.
