Netskope, a Los Altos, California-based provider of a cloud app analytics and policy enforcement platform, closed a $35m Series C funding round.
The round, which has now raised $56.4m in total, was led by Accel Partners with participation from existing investors Lightspeed Venture Partners and The Social+Capital Partnership. In conjunction with the investment, Eric Wolford, Partner at Accel Partners, will join the Netskope Board.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate research and development, sales, support and marketing efforts.
Led by Sanjay Beri, CEO and founder, Netskope provides a platform that performs analytics and allows decision-makers to create policies that prevent the loss of sensitive data and optimize cloud app usage in real-time and at scale, whether IT manages the app or not.
Launched in October 2013, the company is now working with more than 100 companies from nearly every major industry, including healthcare, financial services, high tech and retail.
