In a recent post, DFJ announced the close of its Growth Fund, at $470m.
The fund, combined with DFJ Venture XI, the $325m early-stage focused fund announced in February 2014 (read here), gave the firm nearly $800m in capital to be invested in companies “who think big and are changing the world through innovation and technological advancement“.
Led by John Fisher, Mark Bailey, Randy Glein and Barry Schuler, DFJ Growth fund will continue to invest in companies across a broad range of themes in the enterprise, consumer and disruptive enabling technology sectors.
They have already made five investments from it including DataStax, Formlabs, Foursquare, SimpliVity and SpaceX.
