Captora Raises $22M in Series B Financing

captoraCaptora, a Mountain View, CA-based provider of an adaptive marketing platform, raised $22m in Series B financing.

The round was led by New Enterprise Associates (NEA) with participation from Bain Capital Ventures. In conjunction with the funding, NEA General Partner Scott Sandell, joined Captora’s board.

The company intends to use the funds to grow its team (read here), expand the product range, and to move into new geographies.

Led by CEO Paul Albright (read his post about the funding here), CTO Anindo Mukherjee, and CPO Srihari Kumar, Captora leverages advanced data analysis techniques and automated technologies to allow marketers to discover, engage, and convert new buyers by scaling content-driven campaigns across multiple channels (search, advertising, and social)
It has over 30 customers including AppDynamics, Eucalyptus, International Culinary Center, Marketo, Salesforce ExactTarget, ServiceMax, and SnapLogic.
