Autopilot Raises $10M in Series B Funding

autopilotAutopilot, a San Francisco, CA-based marketing automation platform, raised $10m in Series B funding.

The round was led by Rembrandt Venture Partners with participation from Southern Cross Venture Partners, Blackbird, Tim Draper and Terry & Katrina Garnett. In conjunction with the funding, Scott Irwin, a partner at Rembrandt Venture Partners, joined Autopilot’s board of directors.

The company intends to use the funds to expand its development team and further product advancement.

Founded in late 2011 by the Michael, Peter, and Chris Sharkey, Autopilot provides an intelligent marketing OS for marketing automation, content management and real-time analytics. Its open software development kit, which will open later this year, will enable marketing technologists access to a number of APIs including Autopilot’s lead intelligence and automation applications, as well as to modify core applications to customize and configure the software.

The solution currently has over 3,000 users and customers include Microsoft, Nokia, Bosch, Voxer, Sol Republic, Cambium Networks, SendHub and Model N.
