AirPR Raises $4M in Series A Funding

airprAirPR, a San Francisco, CA-based technology platform for users to increase PR performance, raised $4m in Series A funding.

The round was led by Mohr Davidow Ventures with participation from Crosslink Capital, Correlation Ventures and other angel investors.

Led by Sharam Fouladgar-Mercer, Co-founder & CEO, and Rajagopal Sathyamurthi, Co-founder & CTO, AirPR operates a technology platform to increase PR performance.
AirPR Marketplace matches technology companies and innovative brands with the top PR independents and small firms in the country while its measurement solution, Analyst, uses machine learning, statistical analysis and other algorithmic techniques for big data analysis to measure the ROI of PR. The solution analyzes digital media activities from traffic to conversion to projected and/or actual revenue in addition to a variety of factors about brands.

The company, which is currently hiring engineers (read here), had raised $1m in seed funding in 2012 (read here).
