Waggl, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of a human search engine for business leaders looking to surface new ideas or honest input quickly, raised $1.1m in seed funding.
Backers included Jeff Snipes, Robert Hohman, James Gutierrez and Ignace Goethals.
The company intends to use the funds for product development and platform enhancement and global expansion.
Led by Michael Papay, CEO, Waggl provides executives, sales teams, managers and HR with tools to rapidly crowdsource critical intelligence, sentiment and unfiltered insights from within their organizations.
Clients include Domino’s Pizza, Glassdoor, Olympics, Sanofi, Pacific Pulmonary Services and the Stanford Graduate School of Business, among other 1,500 organizations from laptops, phones or mobile devices.
