Quad Learning, a Washington, D.C.-based provider of a community college-based program, secured $10m in Series B funding.
Backers included MentorTech Ventures, ECMC Group, SWaN & Legend Fund, New Atlantic Ventures, CNF Investments, New Enterprise Associates and Comcast Ventures. In conjunction with the funding, Joe Del Guercio of CNF Investments joined Quad Learning’s board.
The company intends to use expand its platform.
Led by CEO Phil Bronner, Quad Learning works with community colleges to offer honors programs to students.
Today, the program known as American Honors is offered at five community colleges and participants have access to a national network of over 30 public and private four-year universities who are interested in admitting American Honors graduates.
Resources of the program include individualized student advising, instructional design support for faculty, a student learning platform, and access to a national transfer network of public and private universities.
