Private Practice Raises Funding from CIT GAP Funds

privatepracticePrivate Practice, a Charlottesville, VA-based digital health company, raised funding from CIT GAP Funds.

The amount of the deal was not disclosed.

The company intends to use the funds to add product developers to the team to enhance product features and scalability.

Led by CEO Brynne Potter, Private Practice has developed a suite of connected tools, called “Maternity Neighborhood”, for woman-centered maternity care, patient engagement, and optimization of the workflows of maternity care providers.

Since its 2005 launch, CIT GAP Funds has invested in over 100 companies across the Commonwealth of Virginia, deploying more than $13m of public funds and attracting over $200m more in private funding.
