Pick1 Closes Funding with NYC-Based Fund

pick1San Francisco, CA-based social analytics company Pick1 closed a bridge funding with a major strategic New York VC fund.

The amount of the deal and the name of the backer were not disclosed. According to CEO Paolo Privitera, the details will be disclosed in the next weeks “because other investors may still join the round“.

The company intends to use the funds to boost the scalability and the growth of the business and bring it to the next level.

Co-founded by Privitera and Armando Biondi (who left the company recently), Pick1 provides a real time survey and social analytics platform that allows companies to perform complex analytics on survey respondents from over a dozen social networks. It also offers tools for remarketing and retargeting.
The company, which has offices in Italy and Chile, has already worked with brands, agencies and organizations such as IKEA, Toyota, Telefonica, American Express, and WPP as well as many small and medium sized organizations.
Part of 500 Startups and Start-Up Chile, Pick1 recently signed a strategic partnership with giant SurveyMonkey (read here).
