Gusto Closes $1.3M Funding

gustoGusto, an Indianapolis, IN-based app that organizes e-mails, files and photos into a united inbox, closed $1.3m funding.

The round was led by Elevate Ventures, which made the investment through the Indiana Angel Network Fund.

Founded by ChaCha and Overstock.com alum Shawn Schwegman, Gusto automatically sorts emails, attachments and photos—including photos pasted into the body of email messages—into four tabs: Mail, Files, Photos and All. Users can attach any file to a new email and search by keyword, person, file type, account, date, etc.
Gmail users can manage multiple accounts while future versions will introduce support for Yahoo Mail, Outlook/Hotmail, AOL, Exchange, iCloud and others in the coming months.
The app is now available (for free) in the iTunes App Store.
