Damballa Raises $13M in Funding

Damballa, an Atlanta, GA-based provider of an automated breach defense platform, raised $13m in funding.

Backers included existing investors such as Adams Street Partners.

The company intends to use the funds for North American and international sales expansion, as well as marketing and channel efforts.

Led by David Scholtz, CEO, Damballa provides an automatic breach defense system that detects in real time successful infections with certainty, terminates their activity and gives responders the ammunition needed to prevent loss. The solution delivers actionable information about known and unknown threats regardless of the infection’s source, entry vector or OS of the device.

Damballa protects any device or OS including PCs, Macs, Unix, iOS, Android, and embedded systems at enterprises in every major market and for the world’s largest ISP and telecommunications providers.
