Boxbee Raises $2.3M in Funding

boxbeeBoxbee, a San Francisco, CA-based urban storage startup, raised $2.3m in funding.

According to reports, the round was led by Floodgate Capital, with participation from Google Ventures, 500 Startups, Techstars, Jason Calacanis, and Ludlow Ventures.

The company intends to se the funds to expand operations in additional cities.

Founded by Kristoph Matthews, Boxbee allows people to store and manage their items by delivering boxes, transporting them to a facility, and cataloging boxes for retrieval.
The company, which now serves San Francisco and NYC, is a graduate of AngelPad.
