Arkivum, a Chippenham, Wiltshire, UK-based provider of digital archiving solutions, raised £1.9m in financing.
The round was led by Oxford Capital with participation from existing investors IP Group and Parkwalk Advisors.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate the commercial roll-out of its data archiving service, expand its customer base and increase marketing.
Led by Jim Cook, Chief Executive Officer, Arkivum specializes in the management and storage of organisations’ information assets. Its systems store multiple copies of customers’ data in UK data centres and actively manage integrity to ensure it remains in perfect condition.
Customers and partners include the Tate galleries and Janet, which manages data networks for universities and research organisations.
