Ulmon, a Vienna, Austria-based mobile travel platform, received a small seven-digit funding.
Global Founders Capital, the the venture capital firm run by Marc and Oliver Samwer along with former Delivery Hero co-founder Fabian Siegel, made the investment.
The company intends to use the funds to expand adoption of its platform globally.
Led by Florian Kandler, Co-Founder and COO, Ulmon provides travel app CityMaps2Go, a global travel guide app (for iOS and Google Play) that allows travelers to plan trips and use it on trips for orientation and information.
It features a proprietary offline map rendering technology based on OpenStreetMap and a data aggregation framework for freely available web data.
