Lotame Acquires AdMobius

Lotame, a New York-based provider of an independent data management platform (DMP), acquired AdMobius, a San Mateo, California-based provider of a mobile audience management platform.

The amount of the transaction was not disclosed.

Founded in 2012, AdMobius, which had raised a $5m Series A funding in 2012 (read here), aggregates mobile data from publishers, secondary sources such as ad networks, and third-party data vendors to build target consumer segments, enabling mobile publishers and advertisers to discover and target relevant audiences at scale and to improve the performance and reach of ad campaigns.

Led by Andy Monfried, founder and CEO, Lotame provides marketers, publishers and agencies with a platform to maximize the way they collect, unify, protect, and activate audience data to monetize it. The company just raised 15m in Series D funding (read here).
