TechCrunch reported that Layer3 TV, a Boston, MA-based provider of next generation cable, raised a $21m Series A funding.
According to the tech blog (read here), the round was led by North Bridge Venture Partners and Evolution Media Growth Partners.
Founded in 2013 by Dave Fellows and Jeff Binder, Layer3 only says that it is “a next generation cable provider spearheading a new era of home media, combining the best of television, social, and digital life“.
