Vook Acquires Booklr

vookVook acquired Booklr, a New York City-based real-time data & analytics platform that delivers actionable insights to authors and publishers about their market, customers, and retail partners.

The amount of the transaction was not disclosed.

Led by co-founder Josh Brody, who will be joining Vook as chief operating officer as well as the board of directors, Booklr helps global publishing houses, media companies, literary agencies, and bestselling authors to track nearly 4 million book titles across every major retailer.

Led by founder and CEO Brad Inman and co-founder Matt Cavnar, Vook is a New York City-based media company that offers an ebook distribution platform. The company works with media companies including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Forbes and Fast Company and authors such as David Frum, Seth Godin, Tony Robbins, Gary Vaynerchuk and Laurell K. Hamilton.
It is backed by Vantage Point Capital Partners, Tribeca Venture Partners, Baseline Ventures, Felicis Ventures, Floodgate, Founder Collective, Lerer Ventures, and SV Angel.
