Tidy Books Raises £105.6K on Crowdcube

tidybooksTidy Books, a Waltham Forest, UK-based maker of eco-friendly storage and bookcases that get kids reading, raised £105.6k on equity crowdfunding platform Crowdcube.

The company, which raised the capital from 116 investors for 11.35% equity, intends now to use the funds to expand the business overseas (firstly in Germany, France and Scandinavia). According to a note, a customer liked the product and put in £15k.

Founded in 2004 by Geraldine Grandidier, Tidy Books makes kids bookcases, kids book boxes, bed and baby storage, and 3D puzzles.
The products are sold in John Lewis and Mothercare (with more retailers in the pipeline).
