StoryVine, Inc., a NYC-based provider of a platform that automates the video production process to make on-brand videos, raised a seed round of funding from Pavonis Capital.
In conjunction with the funding, whose amount was not disclosed, Mark Kingston, managing partner of Pavonis, will join the company’s Board of Directors.
Led by Kyle Shannon, Chief Executive Officer, StoryVine provides a platform that allows users to create on-brand, professional-quality videos. The content video, images and text is captured using a video-capture app, which is currently available for iOS devices.
The platform is used by IBM, which is creating videos of employee best-practices from all over the company.
