Screenburn Media Ltd, a London, UK-based Facebook VoD platform that enables the sale of film and TV from a Facebook page, raised $500k in angel funding.
Backers included Andrew Weisz and Simon and Michael Blakey from Avonmore Developments.
Founded by Tom Raffe, The company has developed a platform that allows clients to launch and sell films on Facebook as well as to increase distribution. Purchases are automatically broadcast in the news feed, enabling content to grow virally across the network.
Clients include studios, record labels and TV networks.
