MassRoots, a Denver, CO-based social network for the medical cannabis community, recently closed $150k in seed funding.
Backers included members of the ArcView Group.
The company is using the funds for user adoption and is continuing to raise capital.
Co-Founded by Isaac Dietrich and launched in July 2013, MassRoots is an App-based social network dedicated entirely to high-quality cannabis content.
In the words of Dietrich, they aim to create a network for the cannabis community and connect marijuana consumers, building a marketing and distribution channel for legal cannabis, and empowering the legalization movement itself.
It does not require a users’ name, email or phone number to join, giving users a level of privacy and anonymity.
