Flashnotes.com, a Boston, Mass.-based student-to-student study materials marketplace, raised $3.6m in Series A funding.
The round was led by Stage 1 Ventures, with Runa Capital, Soft Bank Capital and Atlas Venture.
The company intends to use the funds for market expansion within the higher education technology market.
Led by Michael Matousek, CEO & Founder, Flashnotes.com provides a peer-learning platform that allows college students to sell and buy course-specific study materials including guides, notes, flashcards, video tutorials, and live video help.
