Dude Solutions Receives up to $100M Investment from Warburg Pincus

Dude Solutions Inc., a software-as-a-service provider of facility management solutions to several industries, received an up to $100m minority investment from an affiliate of Warburg Pincus.

The company will use the funds to expand operations and make strategic acquisitions.

Founded in 1999 by Kent Hudson, Chief Executive Officer, and Lee Prevost, Dude Solutions is the parent company of SchoolDude and FacilityDude.
SchoolDude provides maintenance and operations software assisting educational institutions to better manage their facilities, information technology and energy consumption. Since 2008, FacilityDude has expanded the SaaS platform beyond the education sector into local governments, healthcare, club and other commercial facilities.
It has more than 8,000 clients.
