Architizer, a New York City-based online resource for architects, raised $2m in seed financing.
Backers included Gaspar Global Ventures, Alessandro Piol, Joanne Wilson, and some family offices. In conjunction with the funding, Andy Gaspar joined Architizer’s Board.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its offerings to architects and building product manufacturers.
FOunded in 2009 and led by Marc Kushner, CEO, Architizer is a large online source for the architecture. Launched in 2009, the site hosts 51,000+ projects by 30,000+ firms.
The company has over 2 million social media followers.
