PrimeSport, Inc., an Atlanta, Georgia-based sports travel and entertainment management company, received a majority investment of undisclosed amount from Clearlake Capital Group, L.P.
Prospect Capital Corporation provided debt financing to support the transaction.
The company intends to use the proceeds to develop specific areas of business, including the expansion of product and experience offerings, investment in the enterprise channel, growth in ecommerce and online distribution.
Led by Sam Soni, President, PrimeSport offers tickets, corporate and fan travel packages, and hospitality events for corporations, professional sports teams and fans. The company has developed official partnerships with teams and events including the NCAA Final Four, BCS National Championship, Super Bowl, Daytona 500 and many others.
