Integral Ad Science Raises $30M

Int_adscience_logoIntegral Ad Science (fka Ad Safe Media), a global provider of actionable advertising intelligence for buyers and sellers of digital media, raised approximately $30m in funding.

According to a filing with the S.E.C., the company raised $29,999,987 from 5 (unnamed) investors.

The round was led by August Capital. In conjunction with the funding, Eric Carlborg of August Capital, joined Integral’s board of directors.

The company intends to use the funds to support technology and data science innovation as well as international growth.

Led by CEO Scott Knoll, Integral Ad Science leverages a media valuation platform to evaluate the media environment and establish a TRAQ Score (True Advertising Quality), a quantifiable measure of media quality that benefits media buyers, sellers, publishers and trading platforms.

The TRAQ score aims to support advertisers’ ability to plan, execute and target their audience in an environment that reflects their brand image and drives ROI, while simultaneously setting benchmarks for publishers who wish to improve the quality of their content and design to attract premium advertisers.
The company has operations in San Francisco, London, Tokyo and Sydney.
