Hansoft Raised €6.15M

hansoft_logo2Hansoft, an Uppsala, Sweden-based provider of an agile development platform, raised $8.4m (€6.15m) in funding.

The round was led by Creandum, with participation from private investors Mårten Mickos (currently CEO of Eucalyptus Systems). In conjunction with the funding, Daniel Blomquist, Principal at Creandum, joined’s Hansoft’s board.

Founded in 2005 and led by Patric Palm, Chairman and CEO, Hansoft provides agile development software for team empowerment, transparency and collaboration for game development, electronics, aerospace, space, and telecom companies. The platform features social collaboration, defect tracking, portfolio analysis tools.
The company also has offices in San Francisco.
