GamePix Teams up with Kaspersky Lab to Play Safely

gamepixKaspersky Lab has teamed up with GamePix, a Rome, Italy-based aggregator and supplier of video games.

Under the terms of the agreement, buyers of a Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2014 at http://store.kaspersky.it/ will obtain a GamePix code which can be used at http://www.gamepix.com to receive 10,000 coins and a 50 defense point increase for their avatar.
At http://www.gamepix.com, GamePix collects 15,000 video games for users to play for free by creating a unique avatar and challenge at each others to “conquer the world”.
Kaspersky users who use the code at www.gamepix.com can add the “K” (of Kaspersky), which symbolizes a major degree of defense.

This represents a new milestone for GamePix (led by CEO and CTO Edouard Wawra, CMO Valerio Pullano, and CFO Justin Silipo), a startup incubated within LuissEnlabs, the accelerator owned by LVenture Group and supported by Kasperky as well.
In 2013, they signed a partnership with Mangatar, a venture-backed startup that creates social games in the manga universe, to play Mangatar’s Dengen Chronicles on its platform, received a grant from Appcampus, and participated at Helsinki-based AppCademy, a four-week intensive acceleration camp dedicated to promising teams already selected by Appcampus.
On November, 5th, 2013, during the event “Building the Vision”, Edouard pitched GamePix to Steve Ballmer, CEO of Microsoft.
