Digital Magics Raises €2M to Continue to Invest in Internet Startups

digitalmagicsDigital Magics (AIM Italia: DM), a Milan, Italy-based certified venture incubator, announced the subscription of 264.853 new ordinary shares amounting to €1.986.397,50.

The capital increase has been subscribed by institutional investors, angels and shareholders (n. 248.519 shares amounting to €1.863.892,50), and Digital Magics’ suppliers (n. 16.334 shareholders €122.505,00). Following the close of the increase, the equity of Digital Magics amounts to €3.674.100.

The incubator, which has been listed since July 2013, will use the funds to continue to grow operation and expand the investment activity.

Founded in 2014 by Enrico Gasperini, Digital Magics builds internet startups investing its own resources and providing acceleration services. It has recently invested in Prestiamoci (read here) and Buzzoole (read here), among others.
