Cleverbug, a Dublin, Ireland-based social gifting company, raised $6m in funding.
The round was led by Delta Partners.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate business and product development and global expansion. To this end, the company plans to add 25 positions.
Led by Kealan Lennon, CEO and founder, Cleverbug provides CleverCards, which allows users to create real, photo-based greeting cards and send them anywhere. Its iOS and Android app – downloaded in over 150 countries – presents each user with their own personalized and curated gallery of cards and designs, based on social relationships, preferences and behaviours.
