StackMob, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of a mobile platform for developers to create a mobile business, has been acquired by PayPal.
The amount and the terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Led by CEO Ty Amell, StackMob was backed by Trinity Ventures, Harrison Metal Capital and Baseline Ventures (read our news here).
The company’s team will help PayPal create, test and deploy products “that aim to transform payments for customers around the world“.
