WhoKnows, a Mountain View, Calif.-based provider of solutions that help employees at companies identify colleagues who can aid them when needed, closed a Series A funding.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
Backers included PivotNorth Capital, The Citrix Accelerator and unnamed angel investors.
Led by Founder and CEO Toufi Saliba, WhoKnows has developed an Enterprise Knowledge Acceleration Platform that provides users with insight into organizational expertise and capabilities. Its Automatic Expertise Discovery Engine uses technology to accurately determine “who knows what” within enterprises and provides methods to help them address the “knowledge gap” within the company.
