Veezeon Ltd, a London, UK-based startup specialized into image recognition, raised $66k in funding.
Appcampus (Microsoft + Nokia + Aalto University) provided the funds.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations. To this end, it is currently hiring.
Led by Marco De Sanctis, CEO, and Cristian Civera, CTO, Veezeon is the creator of ArtGuru, an app that transforms any smartphone into a full art guide, with audio, video and image recognition. The app runs on Windows Phone 8.
The company is also backed by investor and advisor Stefano Tresca.
