Tailwind (formerly known as PinLeague), an Oklahoma City, OK-based software-as-a-service Pinterest analytics and marketing suite, raised $1m in financing.
The round was led by i2E, with participation from SeedStep Angels and other individual investors.
The company intends to use the funds to expand the team in Oklahoma and New York City to improve the platform.
Co-founded by Danny Maloney, CEO, and Alex Topiler, Tailwind provides advertising, social media and PR agencies with a Pinterest analytics and marketing suite that features tools that help companies extract value from Pinterest. It is also developing additional SaaS services to be launched for later 2013 and 2014.
