Garantia Data, a Santa Clara, CA-based enterprise-class Redis cloud provider, raised $9m in series A funding.
The round, which brought the total funding to date to $13m, was led by Bain Capital Ventures and Carmel Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to further enhance its core capabilities.
Founded by CEO Ofer Bengal and CTO Yiftach Shoolman, Garantia Data offers a fully-managed Redis Cloud service, which enables developers and enterprise IT organizations to enhance Redis operations in a variety of use cases.
The service is currently available over public clouds including Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Windows Azure, as well as platform-as-a-service (PaaS) providers such as Heroku and AppFog.
The company has more than 1,000 paying customers.
