Betable Raises $18.5M in Series A Funding

Betable_LogoBetable, a London, England, UK-based platform that enables developers to legally offer real-money play in their own games, raised $18.5m in Series A funding.

The round was led by Venture51, with participaton from existing investors Greylock and Founders Fund.

The company intends to use the funds to grow the team (read here), introduce new features and support developers who are building on the platform.

Led by Christopher Griffin, Founder & CEO, Betable provides the license, support and infrastructure to allow developers to legally integrate real-money gaming into their own mobile and social games. The company, which is licensed by the United Kingdom Gambling Commission, has an office in San Francisco, USA.
