Arrayent Raises $11.9M in Series B Funding

Arrayent, a Redwood City, California-based provider of virtualization technology for the Internet of Things, raised $11.9m in Series B Funding.

The round was led by DCM Ventures, with participation from Intel Capital.

The company intends to use the funds to expand the platform and continue to grow its customer base within strategic global markets.

Led by Shane Dyer, founder and CEO, Arrayent provides a platform that allows companies to build a wide range of compatible connected products so that home appliances can be controlled with a single smart phone application. Customers include Whirlpool, Pentair, First Alert and Chamberlain as well as other U.S. retailers. In Europe, the company is also partnered with SALUS Controls plc, a supplier of thermostats.
