TicketGoose.com, a Chennai, India-based online bus ticketing portal, raised $3m in second funding.
Indventure, a Chicago-based investor firm, made the investment.
Led by Karthi Easwaramoorthy, Co-founder and CEO, TicketGoose is an online bus ticketing portal. Its website allows users to navigate, compare bus options and locate the boarding points with the help of an integrated Google map.
TicketGoose currently partners with over 700 bus operators and 6,000 agents to cover 3,000 destinations, through 10,000 routes and 20,000 buses. it recently launched a 24*7 customer support service.
The company has 130 employees at its offices in Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad.
In 2012, TicketGoose had raised $1m in its first round of funding from US-based angel investors.
