SundaySky Raises $20M in Series C Funding

SundaySky, a New York City-based provider of a video platform for brands to engage people with personalized experiences, raised $20m in a Series C funding.

The round was led by Comcast Ventures, with participation from Liberty Global Ventures, Vintage Investment Partners, and existing investors Carmel Ventures, Globespan Capital Partners and Norwest Venture Partners (NVP). In conjunction with thye funding, Andrew Cleland, managing director of Comcast Ventures, will join SundaySky’s board of directors.

The company intends to use the funds to expand in existing and new geographies, and strengthen new product innovation.

Led by Shmulik Weller, CEO, SundaySky provides ecommerce, telecommunications, insurance, banking and travel companies with SmartVideo, a platform to create customer acquisition, support, growth and loyalty initiatives. It also offers built-in analytics, which allows brands to measure and optimize performance at multiple touch-points.
SundaySky has been used by AT&T, Office Depot, Allstate and others.
The company also has offices in Tel Aviv and London.
