Rockabox Completes £3M Series A Funding

Rockabox, a London, UK-based provider of video engagement technology, completed a £3m Series A funding round.

The round was led by Notion Capital with participation from existing investors Frog Capital, and fourteen17.

The company plans to use the funding to expand into new markets, further develop its software-as-a-service platform and further consolidate its market position.

Co-founded by James Booth, CEO, and Torie Chilcott, Rockabox provides brands, agencies, publishers and broadcasters with a software-as-a-service video technology platform that combines distribution, engagement and analytics.
It includes the Shutters™ technology, an innovative HTML5 content media format that enables brands to synchronize video content with brand messaging, interactive features and ecommerce functionality.
Launched in 2008, the company has clients including brands such as Honda, Diesel, Estée Lauder, Hackett and House of Fraser.
