Kewill, a US provider of multimodal transportation and logistics management software, acquired the assets and subsidiaries of Four Soft Ltd, a Hyderabad, India-based provider of integrated software solutions for the freight and logistics industries.
As part of the transaction, whose amount was not disclosed, the assets of Four Soft including over 500 employees have transferred to Kewill, creating a business with in excess of US$110m in revenues and 7,500 customers, across more than 100 countries.
Kewill has now a software innovation center in India, which has a team of around 300 employees with multimodal transportation domain expertise as well as an expanded geographical presence with the addition of offices in Denmark, India and Australia.
Led by Bob Farrell, President and CEO, Kewill is a portfolio company of Francisco Partners.
