Idea Device Technologies Raises $4M in Series A Funding

Idea Device Technologies, a Bangalore, India-based provider of an information technology process automation solution, raised $4m in Series A funding.

Venture capital firm Sequoia Capital made the investment.

The company intends to use the funds to expand into the US and Singapore markets, hire new people (read here) and expand its product suite.

Co-founded in 2008 by Saju Pillai, CEO, and Aaditya Sood, CTO, Idea Device provides an automation platform that helps enterprises reduce operational errors and manual processes in their data centres.

Incubated at NSRCEL, IIM Bangalore, the company also has offices in Mumbai and Singapore.
